RIP Grandpa McGriff

This post is made in memory of my great-grandpa McGriff.

This shows a picture of us together.

I digitally added one of the shillelaghs he made!

It’s hanging off of a heart as seen in the upper right corner.

I also digitally added a horse tie that he gave me.

I have a memory of him showing me how it worked.

The horses head moves up and down making it look as if it’s shaking it’s head. He was REALLY proud of that! I chose it due to my love of horses!

Although, it’s a small memory I’ll hold that in my heart always.

The last time that I saw him, he left with tears in his eyes. I think he knew that he wouldn’t see us again.

That memory is heartbreaking but another that I’ll forever hold close.

I used to call him Grandpa McGriff, instead of Great-Grandpa McGriff. I guess it was easier for me and noone ever corrected me.

Although, I know he was my great-grandpa, he will forever be known to me as Grandpa McGriff.
