Blog

This blog tells about the updates Angela makes.

It features her art but talks a bit about others, etc. as well. This does not happen in every post!

Angela is not shy in speaking up about others who have inspired her, etc.

This blog is to help create awareness of LGBTQ rights, etc. but first speaks up for Women in the arts.

However please note that if you have any political issues, etc. contact those in charge of them. This blog is mainly about art.

Thank you for understanding and Namaste

What's new!

Hey you guys!

I have a few collages to share with you this week showing the progress I’ve made on twitch!

In my last post I only showed the start of my Cancer sketch but I’ve made a collage especially for you to show the finished work!

I hope that you like it. If you did not read my last post, the flowers in this sketch represent different types of Cancer.

Light blue is for Prostate Cancer and Thyroid Cancer

Dark blue is for Colon and Rectal Cancer.

White is for Lung Cancer

Purple is for Pancreatic Cancer.

Last, but certainly not least I wanted to update you all on what new project I will be working on! After finishing my Cancer sketch, I decided to work on a sculpture.

Please note that this is NOT finished and is also not meant to be realistic.

It is meant to be FUN, while also representing a few different things.

Not for sale!

The helpful benefits of Yoga is obviously one of the things this sculpture represents!

I love that yoga can help calm the breathing so that it’s less likely a person will have a heart attack. Yoga can also help those like me or actually those with any sort of medical condition by making it less likely that they’ll have a seizure or panic attack.

I will also be painting this in Pink, Purple and Blue to represent bi-sexuality.

On THAT note, HAPPY PRIDE!!!

It’s eyes, while I do not intend on having them completely white will also represent the trans community.

I see you, I hear you and although times are WAY beyond ruff, we’ve got this!

Get that little pun there!? I hope that it made you laugh in these hard times, we need something to laugh about!

I have to remind myself of that at times, but I know that we can do this together!

Personally, I believe that there is a connection or understanding between those who are bi-sexual and those who are trans.

We can see beyond the body, beyond male or female, which is a understanding that everyone does not have.

I look forward to continuing my work on this and will keep you all updated.

Please note that my collages are made especially for this blog.
