Blog

This blog tells about the updates Angela makes.

It features her art but talks a bit about others, etc. as well. This does not happen in every post!

Angela is not shy in speaking up about others who have inspired her, etc.

This blog is to help create awareness of LGBTQ rights, etc. but first speaks up for Women in the arts.

However please note that if you have any political issues, etc. contact those in charge of them. This blog is mainly about art.

Thank you for understanding and Namaste

Art From The Heart!

Hey people!!!

I hope that you had a great time during the holidays!

I truly wanted to spend the holidays in NY but ya can’t always get what you wanna.

There’s always next year!!

As some of you know I have been working on a table for my studio!

This table will not be for sale, I just like sharing the creative process with those interested in it.

After suggestions, I tried to stick with things that I do sell.

That is just not ME and I can’t be someone I’m not.

I do put on a smile, no matter what or try to but that is just who I am.

Anyway, this is a picture I took to share with you all!

If you would like to see more, take a look at my past posts.

As you can see some of the paint came off leaving a black space.

I have no idea how this will all work out but trust that it will.

It’s like theatre, we didn’t know how shows would work out but they always did.

The only difference is I’m putting this together almost on my own.

Not completely though, as I have gotten suggestions.

I also tend to turn on music while working on this. That always boosts my energy and helps me, so thanks!

If it doesn’t work, I’ll just shrug and start on my next project. That’s how it goes. Ya win some, ya lose some but ya keep going because the show must go on!!!

I made this next collage of a painting that I have been working on.

Size: 20” X 30”

Size: 20” X 30”

It was inspired by a interview Ellen DeGeneres gave.

I was touched by her wise words.

As many know, I tend to go to my studio and create based on my emotions.

I honestly believe that most artist’s do that though.

It’s just not always in the form of painting.

Art can take you away from the harsh realities of life.

In my opinion, although I do believe that some things shouldn’t be ignored, the fact is sometimes laughter, joy and not being so serious is needed to live.

I’ve often felt like art has helped me do just that. What can I say? My art is straight from the heart.

I am working on not being as serious though.

Not being so serious came very easily to me as a teen, etc.

I guess the heartbreaks, etc. in life caused joy and laughter not to come so easily.

I think that I’ll be a bit like Taylor and just shake it off. :)

Don’t you just love her name!?

I DO!

I share some in this recording telling you about the last image I took for you all.

It’s not my best recording but hey when has that sort of thing ever stopped me!?

I also do not tell people who I am, etc.

I just talk about my art.

I figure, if people want to know about me, they’ll take the time to read about me.

I hope that everyone had a great time at any event and had a wonderful holiday as well!!!

<3 Sending you all the love in the world. <3

I have to note that any contest, etc.created has brought me joy in seeing that others care. Thank you for them!

They also help me learn about people, etc. for future projects.

I am thankful for you beyond words and for the joy you bring into my life.
