Blog

This blog tells about the updates Angela makes.

It features her art but talks a bit about others, etc. as well. This does not happen in every post!

Angela is not shy in speaking up about others who have inspired her, etc.

This blog is to help create awareness of LGBTQ rights, etc. but first speaks up for Women in the arts.

However please note that if you have any political issues, etc. contact those in charge of them. This blog is mainly about art.

Thank you for understanding and Namaste

Happy Memorial Day!!!

I hope that everyone’s having a great monday!

I first want to share a digital work that I made to celebrate Memorial Day!!

MemorialDay (2).jpg

Many of you know that alot of my family was in the Military and doing what’s right means alot to me!

As a thank you to everyone in or out of the Military

who always stands for what’s right and do not harm others, this is for you.

I say in or out of the Military because standing up for others is standing up for others.

It’s WE THE PEOPLE not simply those in the armed forces, those in politics, etc.

Thank you to those who have NOT let that be forgotten. :)

The next work that I have to share with you all is a digital work I created! It’s based on an acrylic work that I made titled Tribal Design!

Tribal Night.jpg

I made a recording so you can hear more about it and the next digital work there!

I love to hear what others think because it always teaches me something. Yes!! I did say teach because I believe we all have something to learn from one another.

All that is needed is a open mind in order to realise that.

I was watching a tv show about The Jeffersons just recently.

Son of a nutcracker, it taught me many wonderful things!

I am not sure who’s watched that but I highly recommend it! Honestly, thank you to everyone who was a part of that. This world truly needs the messages shared in it!

In my opinion that is standing up for what is right and highly commendable!!! I hope all of you have a wonderful memorial day.

I also wanted to add please don’t forget your family. My family hasn’t been to visit the graves of those lost in years, not days, years!

I would honestly love to visit my family once and awhile as we did when I was younger. That’s why I am going to do my best to get there so that I can clean it up. Others can do what they wish but I would like to honour the memory of my family as it is important to me.

I’m not sure how but nothing is impossible.

There was a scene in 2002 Catch Me If You Can with Christopher Walken (playing Frank Abagnale) and Leonardo DiCaprio(Frank Abagnale Jr.).

Frank Abagnale said “I’m your father.” Frank Abagnale Jr. said to his father “Then ask me to stop., Then ask me to stop.”

Frank made the mistake of waiting for his father’s approval. I understand that because even if our parents are total asses sometimes, we still tend to absolutely love them. I’m guessing that he probably learned alot of good things from his father too but his situation was much different then mine.

My point is, don’t wait for your family or anyone else to ask anything.

Don’t run, choose freedom for yourself, choose to love yourself because you deserve it!

YOU will ALWAYS be there for yourself. If you love yourself, you never have to worry about ever being alone because you will see that is simply not possible.

Here is the recording explaining my works, etc. Please let me know what you think!

If you are interested in my works please contact me or go to my larger works page in order to see them.

Here is the second work that I talked about in my recording!

I support National Geographic and many outstandingly talented photographers, etc. but

I am not a photographer, etc. myself.

I am also not by any means a medical professional and no longer do theatre.

I am a visual artist and a visual artist is how I will stay.

I may write a book in the future but have had that in mind for ages and will not promise anything.

I have just gotten some help with my pages, etc. and will see how that goes.

That is hugely scary which is probably why I was drawn to watch Catch Me If You Can.

If ya never try you’ll never know though!!

Moving on, I’m still trying out for art contests!

If you know of any that I could enter please let me know. I truly would appreciate it.

I do need more support and a team which all costs money.

I’m not all about money but it does cost money to live and without it you are not given the freedom of choice.

The only choices many have are:

  1. To accept help from those who may not always bring good memories, etc.

Even if those memories, etc. cause great harm. In many cases, emotional abuse can bring on huge illnesses and that my friends is a proven fact! Don’t believe me? Ask a medical professional.

  2. Live on the streets.

  3. Become self-employed to help pay the bills, etc. while letting others know that they can!

  4. Wait for someone else to help free you. Even if you may be in the grave before that time ever comes. Waiting for it is a choice. Not a good one in my eyes but an option.

It’s up to you to believe in what others often talk about in motivational video’s, etc. It’s up to you to believe in yourself, even when times are hard, keep believing!

Although some do care, the hard, cold fact is many in this world really don’t care if someone else is in pain. You’ve got to choose to listen and believe the words of those who DO care about your well being.

Everyone is worthy of love so I choose to listen to those who care.I do not wish to be around those who will ignore me or blame me when in need of help. I believe in the freedom of choice.

I will do what I have to until I too have the freedom of choice that most people are given at birth because I deserve that freedom! I’ll sell my art, try out for contests, etc. and save, save, save!

You deserve that freedom too, everyone does so please love yourself enough to choose freedom too.

Those who stood for that freedom in the past, mixed with many in the world today give me the strength needed to get through each day. Thank you for giving me that strength! I know that we are all worthy of that choice. One day I will be 100% free, one day we all will.

Until that time, I’m still trying out for contests! Please fill me in on contests that may help me gain that freedom. I truly appreciate it.

Contests can be based on:

  1. painting

  2. poems

  3. short stories

  4. Jewellery

  5. Digital works

  6. Theatre

Any form of art contest is one that I would be hugely interested in seeing!
