Blog

This blog tells about the updates Angela makes.

It features her art but talks a bit about others, etc. as well. This does not happen in every post!

Angela is not shy in speaking up about others who have inspired her, etc.

This blog is to help create awareness of LGBTQ rights, etc. but first speaks up for Women in the arts.

However please note that if you have any political issues, etc. contact those in charge of them. This blog is mainly about art.

Thank you for understanding and Namaste

Happy 2023!!!

Hey everyone!
I don’t know about you but I can’t believe that 2022 is over!

I have to be honest, I don’t have many goals, etc. for 2023.

Like always I just want to sell my art so that I can buy my freedom.

I am thinking very seriously about bring back ArtCardsUnited.

I think that I gave up on it too easily and mainly due to local, personal situations. My life has been in the arts, so when artists who always supported me didn’t support helping my ArtCardsUnited family, I felt let down and lost.

In all honesty it completely broke my heart but you have to harden your heart to a point when working in the artworld. If you don’t anyone can walk all over it.

If I brought ArtCardsUnited back I think it would be very different though and not mainly about comics.

I have different ideas of what it would be based on so I think that I’ll need to give it a bit more thought.

Moving on, here is a collage of the jewellery that I posted this week!

I hope to start B-School again this year as a refresher too!

There are so many around me who are nothing but negative.

It brings me down and makes creating, etc. alot harder.

I see alot of families standing up for eachother and proud of accomplishments, etc. Mine well…actions or lack there of speak for themselves.

Still, I keep going and you should too! Nobody is alone.

I watched Rocketman for New Years!!!

I’d seen it before and have actually created works based on it but wanted to see it again and I’m so glad that I did! It was just what I needed!

I also watched an interview with Elton explaining a lot of things.

It is called Elton John- Uncensored. After hearing that I must admit I admire him even more!

I have to be honest, I never fully understood the interest in alcohol or drugs but work now. I am a huge workaholic! My brothers are both alcoholics.

Only one is worse than the other and I think having to deal with issues like that for years on top of my seizures has done nothing but harm me.

I don’t hate alcoholics, etc. but I just don’t understand them. I must admit that I have often wondered why I deserve all of the pain that I’ve been put through. Having seizures is painful enough! Living in an area that only reminds me of such pain makes living harder.

Lastly, I have a collage that I made in support of

Stacey Abrams,

Raphael Warnock,

Wade Herring

and Jon Ossoff!!

They can count on me to always support them!

You can read more about them by going to their sites!

Raphael Warnock: https://www.warnock.senate.gov/

Wade Herring: https://www.wadeherringforcongress.com/

Contact them about any political issues and let your voices be heard because YOU MATTER!!!

Don’t ignore injustice because as the great Martin Luther King said injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

Fear can paralyze a community and get people to become silent about the things that matter most.

Do not let others drag fear into your heart. Do not stay silent!

As said in Stephen King’s The Stand, Make your STAND!

This world will be better if people work together to help each other before more problems occur.

Huge thanks to KVADPhoto+PRO2 and Paint 3D for providing such wonderful options!

I have to suggest them to any artist!

Until next time.

Namaste,

Angela
