Blog

This blog tells about the updates Angela makes.

It features her art but talks a bit about others, etc. as well. This does not happen in every post!

Angela is not shy in speaking up about others who have inspired her, etc.

This blog is to help create awareness of LGBTQ rights, etc. but first speaks up for Women in the arts.

However please note that if you have any political issues, etc. contact those in charge of them. This blog is mainly about art.

Thank you for understanding and Namaste

Jewellery and Studio fun!

Hey you guys!

A lot has been going on this week!

Due to that, I have a bit more to share!

First is a collage that I made just for you!

It shows some of the jewellery that I’ve made!

Next, is a collage that I made showing my studio or part of it.

If you have been following me you know that I painted leaves all over the walls in my main studio! When you shut the doors it looks as if you are sitting in the woods.

That was inspired by the musicals Into The Woods and The Secret Garden.

To take a look check out my past posts! I shared it as the progress I made increased. It took about a year or so to finish!

To me, every leaf represents someone in my life who inspired or touched me in some way.

I did not name each leaf or put portraits in them, so many have either faded away over time or have been replaced by others who are inspiring and touching today!

Many are in the arts because I grew up in the arts. Some have been added and bring me joy each day!

The flowers on the doors represent children who I watched grow. Most were in the arts because I grew up in the arts. Some I actually worked with, others I have been inspired by.

I also added a flower in memory of Connie Wingard who was always there for me and would take the time to send me Christmas cards when almost everyone else only did things online.

I painted a flower from a letter she wrote me. I’ll miss getting a card from her this year. A small, kind reminder that I am remembered meant so much. You can see that flower in my past posts.

Another part that I made which is not related to the arts is a wall dedicated to the memory of my ancestors.

I have ornaments hanging on my wall in memory of them. I did make one but most I bought. None are for sale! I like the fact that there will be new leaves each day.

The room that I am currently working on just has flowers on it as seen above and a wall that I decided to paint a brownish colour. I haven’t finished the brownish part but the flowers as seen above were just finished!!!

I added a different shade of purple to the flowers so that they would match my front door! I’m not sure how I feel there. Either way though, I’m very glad that part of it is finished! Let me know what you think!

Lastly, I have a collage of some digital works to

support Stacey Abrams,

Raphael Warnock,

Wade Herring

and Jon Ossoff!!

They can count on me to always support them!

You can read more about them by going to their sites!

Contact them about any political issues and let your voices be heard because YOU MATTER!!!

Don’t ignore injustice because as the great Martin Luther King said injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.

Fear can paralyze a community and get people to become silent about the things that matter most.

Do not let others drag fear into your heart. Do not stay silent!

As said in Stephen King’s The Stand, Make your STAND!

This world will be better if people work together to help each other before more problems occur.

Huge thanks to KVADPhoto+PRO2, Phototastic Collage and Paint 3D for providing such wonderful options!

I have to suggest them to any artist!

Happy Holidays!

Until next time.

Namaste,

Angela
