Blog

This blog tells about the updates Angela makes.

It features her art but talks a bit about others, etc. as well. This does not happen in every post!

Angela is not shy in speaking up about others who have inspired her, etc.

This blog is to help create awareness of LGBTQ rights, etc. but first speaks up for Women in the arts.

However please note that if you have any political issues, etc. contact those in charge of them. This blog is mainly about art.

Thank you for understanding and Namaste

Ukraine and shells!

Hey you guys!

I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and have a great week.

There was a wonderful fundraiser at StarsInTheHouse.com hosted by Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley to help those in Ukraine!

Thank you to all involved for doing that!

If you missed it, please stop on by their page and take a look at any future shows they may have.

I have a few things to share with you all today!! The first one shows what I have done with my inchies.

I added Us to them in support of Ukraine! I also added both amber and glass beads to the backs!

These are 1” X 1” each!

As many know, I like to work on jewellery but have been putting that on hold for sometime.

Most of the jewellery I made was intended for different foundations and sometimes to help a certain cause.

Sadly, nobody in this area was willing to help me after I was treated badly at a fundraising event so those foundations that I did stand for never got any money from the things I made to help them.

Although truthfully, few seemed to come in support of my art anyway.

I got really excited and happy when they did!

Thank you to those who did show up. I will forever be grateful for that.

People can’t purchase what they don’t know is for sale.

That being so, if you know a visual artist

please tell others where their art can be found.

If someone likes what they see, they may purchase something

and help them survive.

I am not fundraising for anything at the moment due to that.

I am not fully sure that my heart can take being caught up in a fundraiser again.

It’s one thing to act certain ways as a artist and even that in many cases is extremely wrong. Still it’s another story all together to act certain ways when helping others.

I know that some are willing to create pain to those willing to help. Yet, I also know that those who are helped from fundraisers, etc. are often times more than worthy of that help.

That being so, I must put my feelings aside to help another.

Ukraine holds a special place in my heart. Why?

I have Russian ancestors and don’t know if some distant relative, I don’t know of, is trapped there.

Maybe not but either way, I feel it is important to create awareness in order to help them.

I’m so grateful that I’m not the only one as I am a unknown artist. Some who are rather well known can help ALOT more.

Still everyones voice matters, so I will try to help.

I intend on using these for jewellery in some way!

I’ll also take pictures to share as I do.

I forgot how much I loved making jewelry and cannot wait to share!

The other thing I have to share is a photo I took of shells.I got them years ago while on a walk at the beach.

A friend (Tamara) has been posting photos of shells, so I thought that I’d share!

I’ve known Tamara forever as we met years ago!

I contacted her because I just loved her work! She was very sweet in replying that I could interview her.

You can find her works many places just look up BlockPartyPress.

Please keep your eyes on my blog or

any other social media sites that I post on.

I’ll certainly be sharing as I turn these into jewellery for Ukraine.

Have a wonderful week everyone.

Until next time.

Namaste

Angela
