Blog

This blog tells about the updates Angela makes.

It features her art but talks a bit about others, etc. as well. This does not happen in every post!

Angela is not shy in speaking up about others who have inspired her, etc.

This blog is to help create awareness of LGBTQ rights, etc. but first speaks up for Women in the arts.

However please note that if you have any political issues, etc. contact those in charge of them. This blog is mainly about art.

Thank you for understanding and Namaste

Peace!

Hey you guys!

I hope that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

The weekend came REALLY FAST! It seemed as if the week just flew by.

As some of you know, I’ve been working on my studio. You may also know that I’m a 2015 graduate of B-School.

I took ALOT of notes before and after B-School because once in B-School, you never stop learning.

Due to that, I have ALOT to go through and sort out.

Today, I found an old paper that I wrote for a teacher when I went to Armstrong! I truly wish that I could contact my former professors but technology has prevented me from doing so.

If they are reading this, THANK YOU for the inspiration and understanding you gave me while there.

My paper was about Van Gogh and Frida Kahlo. My professor knew that I loved both of them!

I later found B-School after having to drop out of Armstrong due to my health.

I was BEYOND depressed and finding B-School was a life saver.

Once a B-Schooler, you can go back each year for a refresher. The only thing is you don’t get a degree or anything that is required when applying for most jobs. Even with years of working in the visual arts, writing interviews, etc. some jobs simply will not even consider someone without a degree.

You may get a writing job, etc. but it is not guaranteed. Kids…go to college while you can!

Moving on, I just made a new substack page that can be found at

https://substack.com/@mstaylorsart

I haven’t posted anything yet because I’m just getting it set up.

Lastly, I wanted to talk a bit about Politics. This is a rather hard subject for me to talk about.

That is odd, I know because I have posted many times supporting others in Politics. The reason why it is hard for me is very simple.

I care about those on both sides. I’m also pretty sure that I have some close family members who don’t really talk to me anymore, which may be because of how I vote.

That is ok too. That is each and every person’s choice. That fact can be a bit hurtful but it’s my choice to look at the bigger picture.

Due to that I do not judge others based on what they believe.

I do not believe that you are 100% bad if you are on either side. That is not saying that I agree with either. I think that some on both sides are often right but they are also often wrong.

Many times, I think that they are right about one thing and wrong about another.

Although I have a very small voice, I still have a voice.

I believe that some with a voice that can touch multiple people have used it in a way that has only helped with harming others.

Due to that fact, I will not belittle myself by following that sort of behaviour.

I believe in what’s right for the people and the earth. Arguing and harming others in one persons name isn’t good for either.

That sort of behaviour is anything but peaceful. I must admit that some who claim to stand up for peace have been HUGELY dissappointing on numerous occasions. I honestly can’t begin to imagine why but to each their own.

Man made the word Democrat and man made the word Republican. What man did NOT make is what every decent human being holds near to them.

Kindness, compassion and understanding.

What made that is beyond any word or person on earth. What made that is unknown.

I’ll nolonger be making collages about Politics. I am an artist and so will be posting about the art I create.

I’ll leave that the rest to the Politicans. It’s not like that many people read this anyway but I want no part in Politics. Some actions make it 100% clear that Politics can be anything but peaceful. I don’t have the heart for them.

What I DO have the heart for is to say peace to each and every one of you!

I can’t wait to share the art that I make when my studio is cleaned out!

Until next tme,

Namaste,

Angela
